FAKE HEALTH DEPARTMENT CALL FRAUD – STAY ALERT!

Fraudsters are calling people pretending to be from the Health Department. They may threaten fines, inspections, license cancellation, or ask for OTP, bank details, or payments.

Remember:

  • Real health departments never ask for OTPs or money over calls
  • Don’t share Aadhaar, PAN, bank details, or verification codes
  • Don’t panic or follow threats on the phone

What to do:

  • Hang up immediately
  • Verify through official government numbers
  • Report the call to 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in
